Employment Training Specialist Orientation
This training offers participants the basics of supporting workers in jobs in the community. The training includes strategies for assessing and matching workers' preferences and abilities with work in the community and strategies for building and maintaining natural supports to insure long term employment. Participants must attend each day of training and pass a test in conjunction with the training program. Attendance of the General Employment Training with a satisfactory test score is a required prerequisite to attending this training. Approximately 18 trainings are held across the state of Oklahoma each year.
